Implementing Engaged UniBE

The implementation of Engaged UniBE aims to make visible and further advance inter- and transdisciplinary projects (real-world experiments, living labs, etc.) as well as events and meeting spaces as potential for the climate and sustainability transformation of the university in society and with social actors. The transdisciplinary approach of Engaged UniBE is part of the University of Bern's climate strategy and is intended to help develop and test answers to the social challenges of our time. The transdisciplinary approach of real-world laboratories and experiments is being explored in more depth in the “RealTransform” project, a collaboration with the University of Zurich (leading house), the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland (OST), the Bern University of Teacher Education and td-net.
