Climate projects - research and practical implementation

As part of its commitment to climate reduction, the University of Bern is seeking to promote transdisciplinary approaches and thus make a contribution to researching and solving complex sustainability issues (Engaged UniBE call), while also supporting practical ideas that can be implemented to reduce the University's greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impact (ideas competition). The Engaged UniBE call is aimed at transdisciplinary researchers and societal actors, the ideas competition at all employees and students of the University of Bern.

Dialogue formats and exchanges beyond the university

The Engaged UniBE concept was developed in a participatory process within a broad-based working group. In order to further promote the exchange between stakeholders within and outside the University of Bern, various dialogue and meeting formats are organized within the initiative, including in the Ideenlabor (Ideas Lab).
